This is a quick fix for the moment until I get the sites calendar system set up although this does have some advantages. 1) Select members can add events. 2) They can sync the gadget to their iGoogle page (and then us.) 3) People can even comment on events right on the calendar. 4) Ease of getting Google map directions and info. 5) At some point when I figure it out, other calendars can be synced to it. 6) All events are searchable by google when added so that will help all the events. 7) Hit the 'Agenda' tab to see all upcoming events in order.
